Dear Parents,
Circle Time Staff and I want to give a very special Thank You to all the families that brought in supplies and food for our party days, gave very generous gifts and made our holidays so wonderful. Without you and your family we would not be here, thank you for your support and appreciation.
SNACK POLICY
Snack will be due on the First Monday of each month, because we are closed the first Monday of this month please bring snack in on Tuesday. Please bring snack to feed 12-15 children and include Milk and /or Juice along with your snack. As you enter the centers make sure that a teacher writes your child’s name on the snack. If you choose not to bring snack, we will charge a $6.00 fee for your missed snack. SCHOOL AGE FAMILIES please bring snack in everyday for your child or a snack for the class. Every child receives a 3:30pm snack at Circle Time, it is important your children eat after school.
OUTSIDE PLAY
Please make sure to bring snow pants, gloves, hats, and scarves in a backpack with your child’s name on it to school on snowy days. We will be going outside (weather permitting) at least once per day after January 9, 2012. All children 3 years and older will have recess as long as the weather is above 32 degrees and there is no wind chill.
PRESCHOOLERS Ages 2 ½ - 5 years
Please bring slippers to school with your Child. The floor gets wet and cold and we want our preschoolers to stay warm and focused in the classroom. All preschoolers in Carol’s room will be having winter conferences, these parent teacher meetings will give the parent and the teacher an opportunity to collaborate for the student. Please see carol if you would like to have a winter conference between January 30th- February 2nd.
CHECK YOUR CHILDS CUBBY
Please make sure that you are checking your child’s cubby. There are holiday art projects and some important time sensitive notices that may be in their cubbies. Circle Time sends newsletters one time per month including the monthly lunch menu, and a metro parent magazine. It is very important to look over the information so you know what to expect from your child’s teacher.
STUDENT LATE DAYS & VACATION DAYS
Circle Time staff is based on the number of children attending our program every day. If your child will be coming to Circle Time late or you are taking a day off from childcare please contact us no later than 10:00am. Parents that forget to call please feel free to send Maria a text at 248 891 1351.
Tuition remains the same if Circle Time is closed for a holiday, however part time families can use make up days. Vacation days can ONLY be used if the child does NOT attend school. If anyone has any questions regarding the rules on payment please feel free to look over the childcare handbook or ask a staff member for a new handbook.
Updated Student Information
Circle Time will be having an annual visit from the State of Michigan Childcare license Office. Our former State inspector just retired so we have no idea what to expect from our new consultant. Please make sure that your childcare records, immunizations and health appraisals are up to date so we do not get written up. Shot records are due for the New Year. Please have your child’s immunization forms in to Circle Time as soon as possible. You can have your child’s records faxed to Circle Time @ 248-623-0815. We appreciate your help and support; without you and your family we would not be here.
